Financing Your Education
There are three ways of securing assistance to finance your education at St. Bridget's.

The first is through scholarships. ALL scholarships at St. Bridget's Schools are merit-based and are administered through the Bridget Nwankwo Memorial Scholarship (BNMS) Fund. The Board decides on the level of funding for a given year.
The BNMS Fund provides full and partial scholarships to students based on available resources. In the 2025-2026 academic session, The BNMS Fund provided a total of 36 partial tuition scholarship awards to students at the primary school covering the second term (14), third term (11) and summer school (11).

As part of the celebration of the completion of the first phase of our restructuring, the Bridget Nwankwo Memorial Scholarship Fund is announcing the following:

-->15 FULL tuition scholarships for the best performing students in the entrance examination into Primary 1 for the whole of the 2026-2027 academic year. This includes the THREE terms of the academic year AND summer school in 2027.
-->5 FULL tuition scholarships for the best performing students in the entrance examination into JS1 for the whole of the 2026-2027 academic year. This includes the THREE terms of the academic year AND summer school in 2027.
-->Depending on the availability of funds AND performance in the entrance examinations, other students MAY be considered for partial scholarship awards.
To be considered for the scholarship award, parents MUST apply by the deadline and take the exam as announced in the public media. You may also listen to the announcement which would be carried on the Alumni Radio Network during the eligibility period.

The second way to finance your education is through affordable loans. The St. Bridget's Schools has a standing relationship with a banking partner that can offer loans at competitive rates. These loans enable parents pay for their children's education. This facility is open to all parents. It is only available AFTER a child has enrolled in the school. To learn more, contact our Admissions Office for guidance and assistance with documentation.

The third way to finance your education is through the work-study program. The process is simple; students (who are old enough) work PART-TIME in jobs that are arranged by the school. The students are paid a fair wage. Part of that income goes directly to offset some of the cost of the education. Students must have skills (and attitudes to work) that are HIGHLY suitable for the work-study opportunity in order to be considered for a work-study placement.
